My mind now spans the solar system. But if we all live forever, with ever-growing abilities, what is it all for?

I no sooner ask the question than the answer appears in my mind. The purpose of life is syntropy. The opposite of entropy. Atoms are ruled by entropy. They begin ordered, but ends up disordered. They are controlled by events in the past.

But life is ruled by syntropy: it starts with disorder, and creates order. Life is controlled by events in the future: goals. For life, entropy, and therefore time itself, runs in the opposite direction.

Humans are trapped in between life and non-life. Our brains are small, so we lack the ability to get the things we want, so our lives decay. But the Martians have now have expanded our abilities. We can think further ahead. We can get what we want! We can live!

Should I find out why aliens would do this for us? Or explore the concept of entropy and unlimited growth? Or do something else?
