I don't believe it. We are already miles above the Earth

A few minutes later we're in the frozen vacuum of space, and still accelerating!

We're not dead... yet! Uncle's untested home-made space craft must be airtight at least. Uncle says the journey at this speed might take a week. I should have brought a book to read. He offers to lend me his copy of Shakespeare.

This is going to be a very long flight...

Should I take it easy, and just hope Uncle's packed food doesn't give me flatulence. (We can't open a window up here!) Or should I see if Uncle's home made airlock works, and take a space walk? Or do something else?
